Please don't rate me on the [poor] composition of these pics. The snake was being extremely uncooperative. I consider these as "snap-shots" only and not anything serious.

What do you think about the color though? I'll be damned if the reds don't look as good as with my Canon FD glass. These were taken with a Sears 80-210 zoom macro on my Pentax MX.
