Hi. I think this picture is a nice composition [for a technical photo] but the picture itself was crappy. I was using a close-up diopter corrector so my DOF was squat. I love the way this snake was posed though. For an "artistic" shot, I would want the same picture with the snake posed on something like tree bark or drift wood instead of aspen shavings. Oh yeah, I would also want the entire snake in focus. Heh! You win some and lose some.
