Far as I know she has been raised in captivity. When the people moved they diddn't want her any more and left her in a cold house with no food. (It's down to abouy 14 degrees at night here.) She has a chip in her shell, apparently from being dropped, but there doesn't seem to be a crack. She's eating well, and she's quite freindly! Always swims up to see you when you come in, even likes the dog! She has a small spot on her back foot that looks white and fuzzy, almost like mold??? Could this be a scrape that looks this way from being in the water, or is this something that needs attention? The only vet in this town that sees reptiles is a taveling vet, and he charges about $120 just to come to my house, so I try not to call him if I can helo it! Thanks, Fred
