I may well be misinformed. The turtle lady at the pet shop said she was a painted turtle, and my vet said she was a painted turtle. She looks like one to me, but I'm not that up on turtles. More into snakes and lizards. I've never done it before, but I'll try and borrow a digital camera and post a pic of her. The white spot on her foot (not on her shell) must have been a small scrape, it's healing up quite well. I'll try to keep you posted, and thanks fo all the input!!!!!! Fred
