Was this turtle rescued from a person or the wild? If she
was taken from the wild recently you should put her back.
If this is a painted turtle and she really is 1 foot long,she
has got to be a senior. If it is a recycled pet you will need
a large enclosure. A large preformed pond or 100 gallon low
aquarium may be sufficient. Get online and print off as much
info about them that you can. Remember to use a basking light
and a source of UVB.
