I put some goldfish in with my painted, more for grins and giggles, because I really didn't think she'd catch 'em. She's gotten all but 2, and they've learned to outsmart her. No matter where she goes, they stay right underneath her.
I was given a hint to feed frozen or stunned goldfish when actually feeding them to her. This has worked out, and, in the meantime, she has her 2 constant companions. :)
