I've been an iguana owner for only about 9 months now but I have done a great deal of research and such and consider my iguana pretty happy, healthy and friendly. I recently returned to the pet store where I first picked up my little friend only to see that many of the iguanas there looked awful. One iguana that had been there since the purchase of my own iguana looks very sick and I think may have been badly hurt by other lizards in the cage (I believe those were water dragons????). I spent a lot of time in the store talking to them about iguana care and handling some of the iguanas and I told them I may come back later just to see how things were going. First I wanted to get the iguanas out of there but then I figured they'd just get more (+ where do I put 10 iguanas?????). So now I want to see if they'll let me take care of the iguanas myself while they're in the store and help people who want to purchase them. My problem is how to approach these people? I'm not expecting any sort of pay but do you think they'll look kindly on my interference? Has anyone had experience with this before? Thanks!
Andrew
