well,
a northern red would likely have belly spots
black chinned is probably out of that range (experts?)
mud also out of range
blue ridge spring has a light colored bar which seems absent in your specimen
plus there is no spotting on tail
so seems like you made a good id.
it sure is gorgeous.
what were the colecting conditions like? were there others nearby? what was the local environment like?
