Thanks Andy, from what I gather the concern cannot be over-stated. I have never witnessed the syndrome and don't want to! BUT (big but) I may be walking a fine line. My baby browns are out-growing the minnows I can access and the trout are far too large for all but the biggest guys. I've been feeding far more goldfish for the 5 intermediate size snakes than I'd like to. Guppies are actually very difficult to get anywhere near to me and now only the largest interest the snakes. So, I continue to seek or make a variety of food types to appropriately balance their diet. Wish me luck (prayer would be more effective).
