Definately not before they are completely blackened (or as far as their gonna get). I would say at least 4-5 ft if you're gonna go strickly by length...

I don't have one, but I was thinking of getting one. I just wanted to know more about them before I decided if I should or not. I don't have any plans to breed them, I was just wondering how fast they grow since they don't eat as much as other colubrids.
