:I've noticed everyone has their own opinion on this matter, with black milks in particular - I will say that they are NOT your typical milksnake.
:I've heard of people breeding them at 2 1/2 years (I wouldn't do this at all) - however, I'd wait at least 4-5 years. If you're powerfeeding, maybe 3 1/2 depending. Definately not before they are completely blackened (or as far as their gonna get). I would say at least 4-5 ft if you're gonna go strickly by length...
:If you decide to get rid of yours and you don't want to wait it out. I have a 2 year old male of which I'm looking for a mate... (Rather difficult to find a breeder black milk for sale)
:I'm looking for a female for mine (to mate in two years or so) - if you decide to get rid of her (if even it is a her - i'm assuming), please drop me an email and how much you're looking for - I would really appreciate a chance to find a girl for my guy. tekmunki@tekmunki.com
I don't have one, but I was thinking of getting one. I just wanted to know more about them before I decided if I should or not. I don't have any plans to breed them, I was just wondering how fast they grow since they don't eat as much as other colubrids.
