Hi,
I'd reccommend black milks to anyone... mine started out at 12-14" in mid-September, and are around 20-24" now. At that rate, they should be close to 3' as yearlings, and 4-5' at 2 years. Hopefully they'll be 5-6' at 3 years and ready to breed. :) They grow fast (and can be fed accordingly) as hatchlings, but their metabolism eventually gets much slower than, say, a honduran of similar size.

:I don't have one, but I was thinking of getting one. I just wanted to know more about them before I decided if I should or not. I don't have any plans to breed them, I was just wondering how fast they grow since they don't eat as much as other colubrids.
