Yes, the notification law passed. And realisitically, it's not a bad idea(as long as towns don't go ballistic and get paranoid). I actually spoke with a DEC Environmental Conservation Enforcement officer who had no problems with private individuals owning venomous species...as long as they do it responsibly.

I haven't gotten a confirmation that the A07375 bill was officially defeated though.
