diectly into their mouths...You might even get a very short catheter, about 3-4 cm, flexible and LUBRICATE it!!!Try to find a soft red rubber cath...Most farm supply stores should have all the above tools...Also usee an extra pair of hands, so you minimize the time of restraint and stress...Don't try to just put it in their water, if you are using an oral solution...Be careful with the dose as DT said, 40 mg/Kg (1 KG=2.2lbs)...
You should use Panacur also, as it gets different parasites, i.e. worms, that Flagyl does not...I would treat the animals with 1 bug killer 1 week and wait a week before administering the other..Possible additive toxicity/drug interactions is something easily avoided and there is NO benefit to chance adminstering both drugs at once...
:Here's a quote from "understanding reptile Parasites" by Klingenberg.
:"Jacobsen (1988) reports deaths in indigo snakes at dosages above 100 mg/kg while dosages at 40 mg/kg have been given safely"
:So, 40mg of Flagyl per 1 Kilogram of snake is the dose we can feel fairly safe about.
