Phytates...never heard or read of that problem.
Yes, Garbanzo has more fat than a lot of veggies.
Other ones with higher levels of fat are dandelions, corn,
arugula greens and kale to mention a few (of the ones I feed).
But garbanzo has half the amount compared to Soybeans.

I made a calculation to see what the amount of beans I feed
make on the total amount of fat and other values in my diet compared
to one type of leafy diet. The result on fat is not alarming from what
I understand.

Result is
Leafy diet....0,33 grams fat per 100 grams
My diets......0,35-0,40 grams fat per 100 grams
So I am not concerned feeeding to much fat just now.
