^Uric Acid Levels

Juana had her physical yesterday...Talk about your spring cleaning!Im booked for the net two months with physicals for these animals! Just got a call from my vet re: Juana's uric acid levels.they are in the "high normal" range. Have any of you guys experienced your Igs with ^r than normal uric acid levels Her ca;p ratios are great everything else is great.I did an archive search under uric acid but found little as far as treating this. Dr. said no animal protein! I DON'T give her animal anything. If it aint one thing its another...I think Im gonna get rid of em ALL! lol My rescue herping, canine, marsupial whathave you days are over! lmao...ahhhh that felt so much better! Any help sent my way sure would be appreciated...in the meantime Im gonna read everything I can get my hands on on uric acid (been to Melissa site too) Looking for "at home" things...maybe changes in her diet...Ive read to lower the purine content in her diet...anything else?She doesn't drink much water only at bath times & what I spray on her food.
