Iguanas are born herbivores(PLANT eaters).....I only use babyfood to make medicines pliable,palatable & mix it in salad. Bad habits are hard to break...you're not doin any damage to Petrie just not doin him any good either IMHO. In a pinch...grab a package of frozen veggies, collards and keep on hand I know some people who swear by Veg-all (cheap veggies in a can) when they are in a pinch. I'd try to keep Petries diet as close as possible to plant-like (consistency & all) so he's not a problem eater later.
