Hercules

I took Hercules to the vet yesterday because he split his nose and lip from banging the cage while he is in breeding season. The last week or so got really bad because I started taking care of him again (my husband was doing it). The vet kept him overnight. She stapled his nose back together and gave him medicine to calm him down some and pain medication. I might be able to pick him up today but they are running blood work on him now so it might not be until tomorrow.
The funny thing is that he has been eating like a horse. He has gained almost two pounds since the last vet visit. One would think that he wouldn't want to eat cause of the pain but he is eating like crazy.
