The vet was going to let it heal on its own but when she went to look at it further she saw that the damage was very severe underneath in the nasal cavity. (I wasn't happy at first that she thought it could heal on its own because it was pretty bad). The snout was split from lip up past the two nose holes. He also rubbed off the bottom portion of his mouth, top portion, and had skin hanging off on the side of his mouth. He really did damage to it these past week or so that I have been taking care of him by myself. Before it was just the skin rubbed off the lips. Hercules would run full force into the metal cage bars and this is how he did all this damage. I know have cardboard taped on certain parts but I can't all over the cage due to a fire hazard.
