I sort of hope you were just talking about iguanas. A few big suppliers could probably breed enough igs for everyone. But as mainly a snake hobbyist it would be catastrophic for our hobby if private individuals couldn't breed their stock and buy animals from each other. Big breeders don't usually sell things like javelin sand boas and Malaysian cat geckos, and since it's nearly impossible to get these from the wild they would just disappear from captivity if little-time guys couldn't breed them. And it would just be sad if all we had were ball pythons and cornsnakes. Now, children, there's something you should need a license for :D.
