The placement of the cord and the spines is the same as it would be in a harness leash, but what can you do?
Well, personally, I think the best enclosure is no enclosure at all, and the best leash is no leash at all. No matter how you try to restrain your ig, he may choke, or break off spikes. We have raised our ig to be VERY sociable, and have taken her last year to Daytona Beach, stayed at the Marriott full of college kids, with NO LEASH! When a flock of seagulls flew overhead, she just hunkered down close to my neck. She never tried to escape. She allows strangers to pet her, and never bites or tail whips. It's all in how they are raised.
