When i read your post below i thought your ig will not get well until you stop doing what you are doing but i didnt say anything because everybody would say i was wrong. But as you confirm my impression and your ig is not getting better ill give my humble opinion.
Ive written here a lot of times saying that i dont like pedyalite.I think that the doses of potassium and sodium are too high for a small reptile. My impressin was confirmed by doctors.I have already asked several doctors the same question and all of them said that the doses of sodium and potassium in Pedyalite are good for human children which weigh more than 3 kilos. Not for small animals.Ive lost babies dogs and tiny baby res because i gave them pedyalite.I saw a baby RES, that was not sick but dehydrated, die in front of me 2 minutes after i soaked it in pedyalite.
In Brazil, most doctors dont prescribe products similar to pedyalite anymore for small dehydrated babies because of the risk of overdose.
I wrote this here but some people didnt believe so i gave up!In my opinion you are damaging your ig's kidneys and heart with pedyalite+ antibiotics.
But as i said before this is just my humble opinion.

:I got the rest of the results in from his bloodwork. The doctor said that every thing looked normal. The only thing abnormal she found was the protein was a bit high, but she said it was likely from an infection. He has abnormality on his left lip/gum. It looks like he has a an inury or something. It is not big, but looks a little raw. She is convinced this is whats causing all the trouble. I am due to give him more antibiotics tommorrow. Should I also rinse it with diluted hydrogen peroxide? Another question, the ensure is not working. It looks like he is not swallowing, despite me massaging his throat. It all comes back out of his nose and mouth when I tilt him down to make sure it is not going down the wrong hole. The doctor told me to blend some greens and veggies and hand feed to him. If he is not swallowing, is lactated ringer's injection enough to sustain him untill he starts eating? He looks pretty weak and I really want to get some calories into him. Anybody have any thoughts?
:Thanks in advance
