Its like an ointment so it will not come out through his nose and mouth.It looks like an ointment but it is edible so you can give to your ig a coffee spoon not more than three times a day.It should be used when the animal's caloric or nutritional intake is to be supplemented. It is supposed to be extremely palatable.You can give to him with a spoon or with an appropriate syringe.Please dont put him to sleep!!A friend of mine, who is a vet, told me that the branch of veterinary that studies the reptiles is still very knew so nobody knows very well how the body of a reptile really works.So miracles are always possible!

::Thank you for your input. I will keep this in mind. He weighs over four kilos, but it does not mater anyway. I have stopped trying to give it to him. He does not swallow it and it comes out his nose and mouth. I have tried massaging this throat. I just gave him some blended up mixed greens and veggies mixed with multivitamins, calciam and ensure. The straight ensure would would also come out his mouth and nose. It looks like he downed it. I am desperately trying to get calories into him, as he looks very weak. The vet said there is no sign of organ failure and it is a bacterial infection that is causing all the trouble. If anyone else has anything to add, please do so. I am very worried about my baby. I am doing everything in my power to save him. Once again thanks to everyone that has responded or will respond.
