Igs are like your kids.....they aren't the same are they? Nope...I'm sure their personalities are very different and it is the same with iguanas (for some reason it seems like they should be the same, but you have now had first hand experience that it just isn't true!)
I would say the one that stands tall is the dominant one...which may be why the other one stays lower (being submissive). Does this mean that he/she is more aggressive? Not necessarily. If you gave him away and kept the more passive one, he would then think he is king of your house... It will be a hard choice for you...don't envy that choice. I would try to give him to a rescue home in your area...or find a better home for him because going back to the petstore usually is a death sentence. Good luck.
