Just out of curiousity. How quickly did your iguanas go? I have read several books and visited as many websites as possible they all seem to vary on this. I realize like humans growth rates will vary. They all say iguanas usually reach 4-6feet although I do know a man in California who has one that is 7'8"!! I've seen a lot of sites say an average iguana will grow about an inch a month. If they don't grow that fast but are active, fed well as listed here, have a full firm tail and good coloration are they still healthy??? My little Timmy is about 6 months old and app. 13 1/2 inches. He eats collard greens, acorn and butternut squash, dandelion greens when available, parsley, turnip greens, cucumber and on occasions spinach and carrots (only rarely). He also likes bananas and apples when they are mixed in with the rest. Sorry I don't have a digicam right now hope to get one this weekend in the city!!
