that depends a lot.If you cage your igs together the leader will grow much more than the others. My older iguana is 6/7 years old and is only 1m 30, because when i bought him he was already an adult.Thor, my 2nd ig, lost part of his tail and he is 2, 5 years old and 1,07m.Shena/Sherman is an omega ig that has always been caged with alpha igs.It is 1m 12, only and 2,5 years old.TREX ia a big leader and although he is younder than the others 2 he is already 1m 37!!
Kenya is 9 months and is not 2 feet yet.I feed her the best food available, i de-wormed her and she gets lots of sun everyday.I dont think its possible for an ig to be 3 feet when it reaches one year old.But perhaps this depends on the ig's dna too.

:Just out of curiousity. How quickly did your iguanas go? I have read several books and visited as many websites as possible they all seem to vary on this. I realize like humans growth rates will vary. They all say iguanas usually reach 4-6feet although I do know a man in California who has one that is 7'8"!! I've seen a lot of sites say an average iguana will grow about an inch a month. If they don't grow that fast but are active, fed well as listed here, have a full firm tail and good coloration are they still healthy??? My little Timmy is about 6 months old and app. 13 1/2 inches. He eats collard greens, acorn and butternut squash, dandelion greens when available, parsley, turnip greens, cucumber and on occasions spinach and carrots (only rarely). He also likes bananas and apples when they are mixed in with the rest. Sorry I don't have a digicam right now hope to get one this weekend in the city!!
