If I knew then, what I know now about iguanas, I would have adopted a rescue iguana, instead of buying a juvenile. On the other hand, if you saw the conditions my Iggi was living in, and heard the TOTAL BS that the pet store was telling me about iguana care, then you would know that I "rescued" an iguana that wouldn't have lived very long. Unfortunately, the pet shop owner got my $19.95. I was one of those people who buy the iguana first, THEN surf the net and buy books to learn how to take care of it.
