Hi everyone,
I have had several complaints about a reptile store that is
fairly new to my area. Even my mother in law told me about
it yesterday. While Christmas shopping she stopped in there
when she saw a sign (written in crayon) that said Iguanas $12.99.
She said they had like 12 Igs in a small aquarium all on top
of each other. She said the food and water dishes had moldy
stuff in them. She said the store smelled terrible. One other
person told me a month or so ago that they had a larger Ig that
had no tail, was in a small enclosure and was very thin and
the food looked like it had been there for days. I plan on
contacting the Dept of Ag as they do check out these complaints.
Is there anything I can do in the meantime to try to improve
the conditions for these guys. I plan on taking a trip out there
to see for myself. I will end up letting this loser have it
but I want to make sure I don't do anything illegally. Can I
bitch him out legally :)
Can you give me some suggestions?
