I am not quite sure I understand what you mean by a corc dying who was fed at night because the temps were low and was found dead the next day. That the food rotted within 12 hours or less? I ma not trying to be rude but I am honestly curious because as a snake keeper, and an iguana owner it bothers me to think this could be true for a few reasons....
1. Being that Roxy loves her dinner and often eats as late as 6 pm...lights go off at 7 in winter time. ?? Never had a problem with her digestion.....
2. I fed snakes, lots of snakes, at night. They then are left in cage without their heating source until the morning when it warms up the cage to the appropriate temps. During this nightime temp drop and nighttime feeding, food is rotting to the point it could harm them????
I have never heard of such a fast death from that particular reason thats all. I would love to hear more as it does concern me.
thanks
marisa
