I dont know what to do then. I have a big mesh cage but they absolutely hate it in there and they rub their noses all day and injure themselves. isnt there a compromise? I can keep the heat up in the house to 70 or higher so that should help.
:That is the dilemma with free roamers. I suggest you cage them if you cannot keep their temp. warm enough...or confine them to a warm area. They need it hot...all day and night. Night can be a little cooler but not that cold by any means! Your iguanas are not going to be healthy as their immune system will be run down and they are not warm enough to digest their food either. Besides, they need to be under a UV light all day anyway...aside from heat.
