I am considering taking her in to the vet. At least to be sure it's not something health wise. But with Spike acting this way how do I? I could try to explain to the vet her behavior and maybe they will just do the fecal and not insist on bringing her in, at least until she mellows a bit.

Her never laying eggs or being gravid makes me think definite male, but her characteristics scream female. I can probably get some pictures of her and post this weekend.
