Ok, it was a small, hard poop, but still, he FINALLY POOPED!!! I fed him about 12cc of Rep-Cal iguana pellets, crushed and well wet down with water last night, as well as a long warm bath, that maybe will get things going :) He totally relaxed for the first time I think last night, and seemed very happy to be out and about. He also went back in his cage much easier.

Tonight, he ate about twice the amount, again crushed Rep-Cal adult iguana pellets wet down into a mush. He did tail whip a couple of times when I went to get him out but calmed down much more quickly. Doing the finger thing on his nose, he actually relaxed and closed his eyes for a while :) He looked so old when I brought him home, tonight I thought how young the poor little guy looked. For the first time too, he didn't slowly hurry up (if you know what I mean) to his basking hut and hide. He's just hanging out on one of the big branches I put in there, and actually looks quite relaxed. Only one tail whip, and even that was more a startle reaction, when I put him back in his cage. I think he was almost asleep :P

I'm sooooo happy!! Maybe tomorrow, he will actually eat something on his own! I always offer greens and veggies, but he doesn't appear to touch them. Now I'll try greens, veggies and some wet pellets, he was really happy to eat today. I still can't believe he almost seemed sweet, but no where near enough for me not to be very, very careful.
