done and she spent her first evening in it last night. A
couple of questions regarding heating. A poll if you will:
What temperature gradiants to you guys use. There are
slight differences between what books you read. I am trying
different bulbs and such as the enclosure is large and I am
having some problems with temperature gradiants. I currently
have an active UVB (100 watt) on one side and a red bulb (100)
on the other.(runs 24 hrs). Her habitat is 5'long by 3'wide
by 6 1/2' tall. My gradiants are as follows: 90 degrees directly
under the basking lights, middle of habitat 74-76 degrees and
bottom of habitat 70-72 degrees. I am thinking the middle and
bottom should be warmer but I am not sure what to do. She is
doing great and gaining weight. She looks almost small in this
enclosure and seems a little unsure. That is probably because
she was in a 50 gallon aquarium with her previous owner.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I can't wait to
get some pictures of her habitat. My husband did a GREAT job!

Thanks, Linda
