hi to you and your new "baby"!
i wouldn't be overly conerned about his weight right now ... that will come in time!
and yeah, the little guy's gonna be stressed for a while ... i'd try to keep a set daily routine with him so at least he can maybe get used to his new home a 'bit' quicker ...
he probably has no clue what collard greens *are*!! maybe you could make sure his food dish also has things that he recognizes as food (the peas + squash) ... sooner or later, he'll either get brave and taste it, or taste it by accident and *then* he'll love 'em! (careful with hand-feeding him ... i've heard igs can get very spoiled and very used to being fed!)
soaking is good but that won't re-hydrate him ... i'd give him drinks of Infalyte or Pedialyte from an oral syringe a couple times a day ... (coax/tempt *not* force!)
i'm one that believes in supplementing vitamins ... i crush Centrum and add a *teeny tiny* bit to iZ's fruit every day ... with your ig's diet history, that'd probably be a good idea ...

now that he has a good home and caring people, i really think you just need time and patience and he'll un-stress and plump out!

peas and beans are both high in protein ...

just wondering ... how long is he??? (and is *his* name Harry?)

best of luck! you've come to a good place for igs + their humans!

head rubs and peas for the skinny baby ig!
iZ + his mom
