After much agonizing, research, long-distance phone calls, and great advice, I have decided to spay Meggy. I have selected a vet who is near Washington, DC because he routinely does this procedure. I couldn't find a vet in Pennsylvania who has much experience with this. She is currently gravid for the first time and I don't want her to have to go through this yearly (nor do I want to go through this again!) Her surgery will be next Tuesday. Please say a little prayer for my girl that all goes well. I'll keep you posted.
