Hi, my name is Zach, I live in Minneapolis, MN. I have a young female Iguana. Her name is Foggy, I keep her in a 30 gallon aquarium with good heat usually about 80-90 degree's F. I have had a couple of basking sticks that she can climb up closer to a regular light bulb and I also have a flouresent light in the cage, it's very nice. She has developed a sore area on her bottom side that seems raw and flaking. I've started bathing her daily to hydrate better and removed the sticks with the bark on them. I've heard that sticks should be bleached, is that true? What else can I do for the sore area, hydrogen peroxide?, hydrate?, differen't sticks?, anti bacterial salve?, Please help!
Thank You, Zach
PS, I'm 10 and in 5th grade
