Zach, How old is your little ig? How big is your ig? Do you have a hot rock in the aquarium? If so you need to remove it. The hot rocks can cause burns. I also use sticks, actually branches. Without knowing what the sore is, you probably should see if your parents will let her take her to the vet. If you use an ointment try a triple antibotic ointment.
