need opinions

I have decided that I want to adopt an iguana. I have done
much research and after seeing one in person (4 ft male) I am
hooked.

My question is which is better to adopt, a young one or an older
one. I have other pets so I thought a young one would be able
to get used to them more quickly than an adult. There are also
good points to getting an adult (knowing temperment, sex, etc)
Can you please give me some opinions and reasons for these.

The ig will be spoiled rotten :)
