Well you hit the nail on the head...it is really up to you! With adult rescues you can find out the sex and get a feel for their general personality..not that it can't change though. Smaller rescues are appealing to people too. You have to decide what is more important. Visit rescue sites and see who is up for adoption. Talk to the rescuers and find out about personalities. You might be swayed by a particular iguana, regardless of age!
