Well, I am of the female gender, fyi, but it's ok, I guess we all make unprecedented assumptions LOL...But to the point: do you really think that Edgar, as his name is, is truly that affected? Yes when I first saw him, I figured he had either MBD or bad nose rub. I tell you what, he looks pretty darn healthy to me, pretty round and proportional. I also figure CoRR had a good reputation, every other site I have been to has a link to that page...I dunno, I do admit I am young(19) but I learned a lot caring for Skitz(my friends iguana whom we had rescued from a boys and girls club-none the less)!! Skitz was pretty onery, but she was still a joy to have in my life. I appreciate everyone's opinion, and everything I learned from this forum and just how awesome and dedicated you guys are to your masters LOL!! I'll let you guys hear my verdict later! THANX FOR THE HEADS UP!!

:I dont think its fair to recommend to a youngster to spend hundreds of dollars to rescue a deformed and apparently sick iguana that probably (I said probably) will not live long enough to become the large monter the boy wishes him to become. Its great to think about finding a good new home to the iguana but I think we should think also about the boy's feelings and wishes!!

: :Being that he is a rescue, it is not at all surprising that he had MBD. Please realize also that just because he had problems in the past, he can still live for 10-15+ years with good care now! Also, there really are not many (as in hardly any) captive bred igs in North America.
