:I made a lot of mistakes, huge mistakes when I was taming my igs!!If I could resume, I would be much more patient and calm. I would never scold them, never squeeze them and I would always be sweet.

HI! I was just wondering about the above post...even when ur igs were tail whipping you, you talked sweet to them?? I'm just curious, wouldn't the iguana learn that if it tail whips you, and you talk nice to it, that it "learns" it can tail whip you and not get reprimanded for it? I was just interested, cuz I too am STILL having problems with skitz. What about biting?? I usually scold and do a quick flick on the nose when she bites me, and she has learned that she ISNT supposed to bite me by turning her head(she knows whats coming) when she does bite. What else should I or shouldn't I be doing?? She is going soon to live with her new human, and I am possibly thinking about adopting an ig for myself. I just don't want to have to go through the same mistakes with the new one!! Thanx for your time and advice-IT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!
