it sounds like it's just a new coloring scheme Sneakers is working on ... some of iZ's bumps have little black dots on top ... they're *much more noticeable* when he's nice and warm + his head is *very* dark and not so much when he's stressed/pale ... and if it's one dot per scale, i really doubt mites *or* fungus ...

not much help i know ... maybe your vet friend could take a look just cuz he's prob'ly seen more mites/fungal infections than you and could rule them out easier????

now Joan, you *know* you are a good ig mommy, so don't you be worrying *yourself* sick tonight!!! tuck Sneakers in bed and call the vet in the morning ... *grins* (that's on order from another professional worrier ... heheheheh)

btw, iowa got that snowstorm *last* night ... 9" ... where are you???
