Perhaps if your ig is very small you can get away with some.

As for fake plants, check them very carefully and make sure the leaves don't come off if you pull on them (they are a hazard as iguanas are known to eat things they shouldn't). I made the mistake of getting some vines via the internet that had these type of leaves. I had to remove them from his cage once he shredded half of them. Luckily he didn't eat any.
