Yes, newspapers are easier to find and to buy but they dont absorb the pees and poos very well.The pees and poos form " lakes" in the newspapers!I prefer wood's shavings, the same I use for my hamsters.The grill, placed 10 cm over the substrate, avoid my igs from eating the shavings!!
