Frozen vs Fresh Foods

Hi Everyone!

I've read (and I prefer) feeding fresh foods whenever possible. My Mom however wants to feed my iguana frozen mixed vegetables because she says that these are higher in vitamins and everything as opposed to the fresh vegetables you'd buy during the winter time. I really don't like the idea, but I don't really have an argument to convince her that this isn't a good way to feed an iguana (or is it and I've just not read that yet?). Please tell me what's wrong with this so that I can still feed my iguana fresh foods in the winter time! Thanks a lot! Wendy :)
