When I bought Kenya, the clerck (a chinese woman)told ME that the baby iguana was a female.I dont know if the clerck said something to eyespy about Amazon...
So, I hope the baby iguana you saw in the photo with T-Rex is a female because as I said before I have 2 dominat males and I dont have more space in my balcony to put another cage.
Thank you about the informations on water monitors.I think they make very interesting pets and I would like to have one if I still had any empty place to put a another pet in my apartment!!!

Well how was I suppose to know it was a joke?
: My guess is that its opposite from what the clerk told eyespy.
: I have 1 year old water monitor, that the vet said may be a female, although he said he wasnt sure, but judging by the fact when he put a q-tip up it, no hemipenes emerge. But I asked the vet that it doesnt make it a female just cause nothing emerged, and he said, nope dont mean much.
: Water Monitors dont show sex til 2-3 years old. They dont have feature characteristics. About 3 weeks ago I finally found out it was a male. The way you find out is by watching it goto the bathroom in its water and you will see two large hemipenes emerge. At first I thought the hemipenes were crap, cause it was black, unlike other reptiles which are pink.
: Just thought I would throw that little knowledge of sexing in there just in case someone gets a water monitor.
