Josh,
Its never too late to change your husbandry skills. The good thing is that you atleast realize it. Its a good idea to leave a bowl of water around just in case it starts to get dehydrated, my real point to the bowl was that you knew about it but never got her one, not that she has to have one. Mine doesnt drink from the bowl, but like you mentioned I leave some of the water on the leaves i wash off. If you want to stick to basic greens go with collard greens(they stay the longest), chickory, mustard greens, chards, dandilion greens. Also you may want to throw in some fruits like apples, mangos, etc.
My sometimes goes 2-3 days without going to the bathroom. In those cases I use parazap, They say its like a laxative and cleans the intestines. If she doesnt go by day 3 or 4 and you been soaking her...then take her to the vet. Let me know the state and area you live in and I will see if I can find a reptile vet in that area.
Dont be too hard on yourself, people have done worse and made no corrections to their husbandry. Just keep in mind that your iguana relies on you for all its needs and she cant do anything about it, so make her life come first and easy.
be cool
