I live in Humble, TX, right outside of Houston. Yeah, it's always good to have or know of a good herp vet. I think as long as an iguana can lay her eggs without any problems (other than you having to provide a proper nesting box) then she can get away w/o being spayed. But it seems that eggs that are infertile, eventually cause problems for them.
