: some antacids are made from calcium carbonate and that's what i used to use for iZ til i was able to find a calcium supplement that had JUST calcium carbonate ... (calcium carbonate is used to bind excess phosphorus + is easily absorbed)

: if you DO use something like that, there is a difference between the amount of *calcium carbonate* and the amount of *elemental calcium* as far as figuring out what dose to give ... i'll go find my notes + get back to ya ...
