Thank you for your response Xta,

I have also thought a fair bit about what would happen once I went to university. It is an option for me to live at home and travel in and out from town each day. It is also an option (a more likely option) for me to find a pet friendly apartment near my university where I could move. I will never move into dorms because I couldn't leave the pets I already have behind. Either way, I will do what I think is in the best interest of the animal. I know that being able to keep it in the same place for the rest of its life would be best, but do you think one move would be that big of a problem? I know it would be stressful at first but I think it could adjust. I think that leaving home with the iguana may be a problem because my Mom wouldn't want to let it go! I know she will become very attached very quickly to him.

Poop isn't an issue :) I wouldn't mind doing that at all and I know that I would be able to make time for it. Haha, we don't eat in the dining room, we don't really use it at all actually :) Living way out in the country surrounded by farms with a house full of animals, we are pretty used to "those" smells!

I understand the changes that will have to happen in my life, and I am completely willing to make those. I don't go away for the night often because everyone wants to come to my house instead, and my old cat makes a real fuss when I go away and I hate it when he's upset!

We are still only considering the idea of an iguana, my parents haven't given me a definate yes yet. I am pretty sure they will say yes though, and when they do, I intend on researching for awile more until I am more than 100% sure that I can make the commitement to the animal.

As far as the breeding agression goes, can it be much worse than a young, very cocky 1000 pound stallion? I am not easily intimidated by animals, so as far as I can see this wouldn't be a problem. We'd get through it :)

Thanks again for your response, Wendy :)
