Yes you do not understand .

1) Iguanas are NOT native to Florida .

2) Iguanas living in the wild where released there .

3) After reading points one and two you must realize that these iguanas are not a native species and as such are not subject to the same rules . In fact in most places a bounty is placed on introduced species . The fact is they do not belong there and have a negative impact on the native eco system .
